It works perfectly, as I used it in my SY55. This card can be accessed right from your front panel, with no need to load them into memory, thereby allowing you to keep other sounds you like in the internal memory, AND this excellent ROM card in the card slot. The card itself is in very good condition, with some normal scuffs from previous use, and it works great! The sounds were programmed in Japan by synth programmer Motokazu Shinoda. The last photo shows a list of the sound titles. This Yamaha ROM card comes in a ROM / RAM card type jewel case, which shows wear and an old sticker on it, but it's not cracked and will keep this great ROM card safe and dust free for storage and in transport.No separate PCM / Waveform card is needed for this card to work, just insert this card into the DATA CARD slot on your SY55 / TG55 ... and play away!
