Description: Offered is this patchwork quilt featuring 30 squares arranged in a 6 x 5 pattern. Each large square is formed from 25 small squares arranged 5 x 5, for a total of 750. The squares are divided by narrow strips of material, giving a "windowpane" look. Most of the squares are made from red or blue shaded cloth, alternating with white or light-colored squares. Most of the squares are patterned but some are plain. The back is made from off-white fine sacking, like from an old flour or sugar sack. This narrowly wraps around the edge of the front on three sides. I don't know exactly how old it is but it is certainly old enough to be vintage. The quilt is approx. 79" x 66". Most of it It is in good condition for its age, but there are several areas with tears in the top layer and some areas of light soiling. The back has some additional areas of soiling. I have not tried to clean the quilt. Please excuse the shadows in the photos and please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my eBay store!
