Description: Tin Paint and Pencil Boxes. Over 76 kinds. A beautiful collection of antique paint boxes. They are mounted on a large board with a dab of Elmers glue. I tried to use metal pegs, but they did not look good. the boxes will come off with an overnight soaking. But ideally taking it home like this would be a great way to display. there are no paints in the boxes. Some are early 1900's. All are in good condition. It is a lot of fun to look at. I can not ship it on the board. See answer to letter about condition- Thank you for your interest in the tins. They are glued with Elmers using a very tiny amount of glue. an overnight soak will loosen them and allow me to clean and dry them. There might be some paint chipped on the back where the glue was. Then insides are as clean as can be expected. there is some staining from the paint but not seen from the outside. I took some pictures of the backs of a couple that had come loose. they were not soaked so that is why there might be a chip,See pictures.Also, I noticed a very small amount of rust on the red one.see picture.You can also pick them up if you want to keep them on the board.I will accept returns if you are not satisfied. but I will charge you the shipping cost.I hope this helps3:
