Description: This listing is for a traditional Bavarian or Austrian green hat. The hat is made from a shaggy green textile that feels akin to beaver, however, we are unsure if it is the latter, wool or a synthetic textile. It has a small turned-up brim and a green decorative braid running around the crown. A vintage festival or hiking badge is also still affixed near the front. The hat is unlined, however, it does have a green leather sweatband. Overall, the hat is in used condition and does have some signs of wear present. The outside is in relatively good condition aside from a little dust from storage. The sweatband is dry and cracking in a few spots and could use some care. No labels indicating brand, size, fabric content, region of origin, etc. are present anywhere inside. No size is marked, however, I personally wear a US hat size 7 1/4 (metric 58) and the hat is a perfect fit on me, so it is likely the same size.
