Description: Vintage Taj Mahal Style Piano Shawl Scarf Long Fringe Table Cloth 44" From the 1940s here is a wonderful WWII era piano shawl or tasseled scarf or tablecloth made in the “Taj Mahal” style.It measures approximately 44” by 44", exclusive of its 5" and 11” tassels - including the tassel, overall dimensions would be 54” by 65”. It is in nice condition - the colors are bright and i see no stains or tears. There are a some tiny spots where colored thread from back is shown through the black front, all the tassels seem to to be intact but there is some fraying of the tassel threads, see pics ****This type of shawl is usually described as being of silk brocade - I’m not sure if it is silk, could be Rayon or satin or some combination, but it is definitely silky and has a wonderful lustrous appearance.*** Cont USA Shipping only
