Description: VINTAGE OBSOLETE 1913-1917 U.S.R.S. (U.S. RECLAMATION SERVICE) RAILROAD BRASS HEART SHAPED RAILROAD LOCK WITH CHAIN *NO KEY* Up for auction is this early 1900’s U.S.R.S. (United States Reclamation Service) freight train brass padlock with chain. This lock was used in the American West during the early 1900’s Reclamation projects. This one was purchased in Boulder City, Nevada near the Hoover Dam and was most likely used on the Dam Project in 1931 - 1935. It is stamped on one side of the shackle “U.S.R.S. and the other side is stamped “SLAYMAKER LANC. PA.”. It does not have a key and is in the locked position. A very rare lock indeed. I have several other locks available. If more than one is purchased wait for your invoice as sometimes I can adjust shipping when possible. Please review all of the pictures including the zoom feature as they are part of the description. Email with any questions before bidding. Thanks for looking... ~ Shipping to U.S.A. Only ~
