Description: Framed cartoon print from the Mr Briggs And His Doings series by comic illustrator John Leech, a regular contributor to Punch magazine during the Victorian era. This one is the 'Mr Briggs contemplates a day's Fishing, and practises with his running tackle'. Print published by Bradbury & Evans, 11 Bouverie Street, Fleet Street, London. The print and mount are in good vintage condition and the frame is relatively new. The outer frame measures 22.5" x 18.5" and the visible part of the print in its green mount measures 14" x 11". The postage cost reflects the need for padded packaging to protect the glass. If you would like me to take the glass and frame out and send only the print in its mount, or or take the glass out and send the print and frame, please contact me for a price. I am also selling a different Mr Briggs And His Doings in a different frame and if you would like to buy them both please contact me for a combined postage price. Please see my other items for details.
