Description: This is a 1423 Jules Jurgensen watch with a solid 14k gold case. Color: Rose Gold. Band: 1/20 12k filled Rose Gold. It includes two yellow gold-plated links in order to make it comfortably fit a 6.75" wrist. The band clasp is the old fold-over style that has a slide mechanism to latch in place. It can be tricky to get the hang of and requires a bit of manipulation to do with just your right hand. It is currently running strongly and keeps good time but these small watches do not have much power reserve. When you wear it, I recommend to wind it atleast twice a day like they used to do. Don't overwind it, 10-12 spins is usually sufficient. There is a small area of whiteness at the top of the crystal as shown, I think it is due to some minor crackage on the inside of the crystal. The dial is clean however the name 'Jules Jurgensen' has almost completely been worn off. The arabic numbers are clear and easy to read. It's not easy to remove the bracelet from the case so I cannot weigh the true amount of gold this contains. Compared to the other watches I have of a similar size, my best estimate is that this contains 2.5 grams of gold.
