Description: Here's a 106 year old Weston model 45 millivoltmeter. The meter was made to work with Weston (or other) precision 50 mV shunts to measure DC current. The meter movement is working. The case is made of tiger striped oak. It could definitely use cleaning up, especially the bottom (rear) which may have been stored against cardboard or some paper based material which has transferred to the shellac finish. The rest of the case is not marked up, but is dull and darkened. Ditto for the nickel plated meter face, which looks like it could clean up well. This meter was calibrated while World War I was still raging! Thanks for looking!
