VINTAGE 1965-66 WENDY DOLL IN SEWING BASKET FAO SCHWARZ TAG JAPAN GERMANY RARE

Description: Truly an amazing find, this is a Near Mint condition, never used "Wendy in Sewing Basket". This kit was made in 1965-1966 only according to what little I've been able to find about it. It is even more special because it has the FAO SCHWARZ wooden tag attached to it as well. The basket is in amazing condition with no visible wear to it at all. Everything inside is still unused, and in perfect condition. The doll has amazing color and she is still attached to her cardboard backing. The kit is missing the thimble. This doll has a baby bottle, which does not show in the 1966 ad. This particular doll may have been from 1965 (I do not have a picture from that catalog) since her outfit is a different color, comes with a bottle and does not have socks and shoes. Two of the outfit bags are still attached to the basket, but two are open, unused and still have the original sewing instructions. Otherwise, this kit is in complete, perfect, unplayed with, original condition and so hard to find! It also comes in a brown cardboard box that may have been its original packing. The only other one of these I could find sold in 2013 for $762. Please see pictures for accuracy and condition. I've also included pictures from the 1966 catalog that she appeared in.
