Description: This is a most beautiful trio of framed antique French watercolours on artist paper - these date we believe from the late 19th century - early 1900's - all are in their original gilded wooden frames and with their stylish gold mounts.They are signed - and although the signature is faded and difficult to read - it can be seen in the lower left of paintings.Difficult to be certain where in France these were painted - but the colours and light are delightful, perhaps autumnal - the sky and clouds most accomplished. I adore the size of these they sit so well together and would enhance any wall space.Price for all threeSize Frame - Length 8.75"/ 22.5cms width 6.25"/16cmsCondition - Frames and glass original - light knocks and small nicks to the gesso/gilding on the frames - all commensurate with age .
