Description: THE RING BOXING MAGAZINE BOUND VOLUME / JANUARY 1944 - DECEMBER 1944 There is wear throughout all of the issues in the bound volume including the covers and the interior of the magazines. There is yellowing of the pages throughout but everything is readable unless otherwise stated. All of the individual issues are fully complete with no missing pages - there are 64 pages per issue. Some of the issues have a date stamp on the back cover or the date printed in pencil on the front cover. There are some page marks and small tears on individual pages along the way but we haven’t included them although there aren’t many. Some things might be overlooked on our part but we have given our best description through our eyes. Please take into account that the magazines are 80 years old. There are 12 magazines in the bound volume unless stated otherwise. The binding cover is in excellent shape and has nice eye appeal for someone’s bookshelf or collection. Please read for more described below… The index page opposite the January 1944 front cover has a word written in pencil. The January 1944 issue has approximately a 1 inch tear on p.11-12 and 23-24 in the middle of the page inwards from the edge. The June 1944 issue has approximately a .5 inch tear on the front cover right edge (it is to the right of Juan Zurita’s knees)…the back cover has approximately a 1.5 inch tear from the edge inwards…the entire issue has some light staining on the upper 2 inches. The September 1944 issue has tears on the back cover…one is approximately .5 inch near the top while the other is approximately 1 inch at the bottom middle. The October 1944 issue has a crease down the middle of the front cover. The November 1944 issue has tears on p.61-62…one is approximately .5 inch at the bottom near the middle while the other is approximately 1 inch near the top with a dark marking as well.
