Description: DESCRIPTION: Original etching on paper. This print is artist signed in graphite on the lower right. On "Luigi Kasimir" watermarked paper (see photo.) Tanna Kasimir-Hoernes, American/Austrian, (1887-1972) MEASUREMENTS: Platemark: 17 1/2 in. x 10 7/8 in. CONDITION: The image portion is in good condition with normal wear. There is a small tear on the upper right margin. The margins are full. There is a subtle bend across the lower left margin and there are some signs of handling especially in the margins but this print should look nice when framed. (See photos) Platemark is clear. Unframed. ARTIST’S INFORMATION: Tanna Kasimir-Hoernes was born in 1887 and died in 1972. Tanna was the wife of Luigi Kasimir. She was an accomplished artist in her own right. Her technique and subject matter were similar to Luigi's. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The New York Sub Treasury Building is a historic building on Wall Street that served as the U.S. Customs House and later as the U.S. Sub-Treasury. It is now a national memorial called the Federal Hall National Memorial, where George Washington was sworn in as the first president of the United States.
