Description: This MAGNIFICENT cotton 1870's / 1880's red and white friendship/sampler quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted.Approx. 78" X 84" (Rest assured, it is rectangular - I just couldn't get directly over it at 90 degrees, even though I was standing on a ladder! It's just so big!) Excellent, never washed condition, with some very minimal age staining and no wear. RARELY do you find 19th century friendship/sampler quilts, especially with such nice scale, and AMAZING CONDITION -- truly a COLLECTOR'S QUILT! Reasonable offers considered. Ships quickly via USPS.
