Roland MKS-7 Super Quartet Synthesizer Module 1985-1989 - White 100V

Description: Roland MKS-7 for sale. This is a super quartet. This module was available in black and white. The MKS7 is loved by those who know its true capabilities. It is basically a double module of the JUNO-106 and more. It is almost identical to the 106 on the inside and can receive the 106's Sysex messages; what makes it better than the JUNO-106 is that it takes up less space, has not one but two sounds on different MIDI channels, plus an analog bass section, old-fashioned A4 parts, a multi-timbral William Orbit (Madonna's producer), Vince Clarke from Erasure, The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Human League, Shamen, Underworld, and more Shamen, Underworld, Moby, George Michael, Autechre, Vangelis, and countless others from your favorite synthpop groups of the 80's to today's best techno, house, hip-hop, drum & bass and jazz artists. and jazz artists artists to today's best techno, house, hip-hop, drum & bass, and jazz artists. Each of the following sections receives data on its own MIDI channel. 1. JUNO-106 part melody: 2-note polyphonic2. JUNO-106 part chord: 4-note polyphonicBassline: monophonic analog synth part (not as editable as the above part) 4.Drums Old-school digital drum sound (similar to TR-707). Melody and chord sections can be grouped together to create a 6-note polyphonic synth section that responds on a single MIDI channel. The differences from the Juno-106's synthesizer section are negligible. Most importantly, the MKS-7 is velocity-sensitive. Velocity controls the depth and volume of the filter envelope. The rhythm sounds include not only the 707, but also the 505, 606, 727, 808, and 909 sounds created in Drum Designer. The sounds are well done and can be used as is. The real appeal of the DCO tone generator, which uses the same chip as the JUNO-106, is in the pad tones. It enhances presence, transparency, and immersion.
