Description: A rich antique original Edwardian 1912 black velvet traveling suit. The jacket is decorated with black soutach braiding on the collar, front opening and sleeve cuffs. The jacket is lined with black silk and has a front hook and eye closure. The skirt is fully lined with black velvet. The suit is in very good and wearable condition. There are no holes or splits and the white spots are from the camera flash and not present on the suit. The trim on the collar is loose in a couple of places and will need some minor re-stitching.
