Description: We have a very unique Japanese SATSUMA Moriage vase of a woman in seated position ----- in 6 colors with a metallic gold highlight and some added 3D paint to some areas to make an interesting raised bumpy highlights to some parts. The crazy part is that over the woman's head is a nice red and gold banner of SOUVENIR OF CAPE MAY NJ -------- never seen another one and can imagine it's pretty rare. Vase is about 4" tall and base is 1 1/2" in diameter with a 2" vase diameter max. Pretty light weighting only 102grams. Colors and detail are pretty vibrant and condition is great with only minor surface scratches and paint overlaying. Base is glazed and has a unique small paper label of JAPAN in a very simple label ------- not the usual OCCUPIED JAPAN blue ink --- odd.So if you are a fan of CAPE MAY ------- this might be the Holy Grail in rare and funky antiques ------ we hope that this goes into one of the amazing CAPE MAY Victorian B&B's ----- would be perfect.
