Breed: ENGLISH BULLDOG & FRENCH BULLDOG, depicted by unknown artist in an exterior scene. This series, entitled "Chiens De Luxe," was distributed in Nestle, Cailler and Kohler Chocolates in 1931 Europe, specifically France and Belgium. Some were perforated like stamps, and some are straight edged. Bright and vibrant color on these cards - though printed on paper, and fragile compared to other series!! These card / labels are extremely hard to find in the USA, and are even considered a good find in Europe. Dimensions: 2 3/16" wide by 1.5" tall. NOTE: One only at this time!! The item pictured for sale in this auction is the one for sale!! This one has a PERFORATED EDGE. Keep in mind, these are printed on PAPER and are not on Card Stock like many collectibles cards of the day. These were issued as a premium in hopes of selling more product for people to be able to collect the entire series, directed at children. Printed on the front side only, reverse is blank.
