Rare 1920s EARLY&CRUDE Nelson McCoy Pottery Matte Glaze Vase W/ Leaves & Flowers

Description: Here is a very early Nelson McCoy 8" 2-Handled Vase with Amyrillis? flowers and leaves. It has a wonderful heavy early glaze in brown and green as you can see in the pics. It is in excellent condition, free of any chips, cracks or repairs. There is a bit of light crazing that you would expect to see from a vase of this age. The glaze was heavy, so there is one place where the glaze touched the kiln base and you can see where they pulled it off the shelf. Factory inconsistency, not a flaw. SEE PICS The handles were hand-applied, you can see the remnants of the slip when they attached it. This is a wonderful early example.
