The picket edge and bird centers are identical in color and composition across manufacturers. The Smith Phillips "Orador" pattern has single-flower transfers on the verge with the flowers closer to the center. The Canonsburg China pattern has multi-flower grouping transfers on the verge with the flowers closer to the rim. The WS George pattern has an alternating combination of single-flower and multi-flower transfers on the verge with the flowers closer to the rim. The Smith Phillips pieces are dated. The Canonsburg pieces are not dated however the maker's mark suggests production 1900-09 before the company changed its name to Canonsburg Pottery in 1909. The WS George pieces are stamped Derwood (introduced in 1910) with date marks in the late 1910's.In Good, Antique condition- no chips or cracks.Age-appropriate wear - random utensil mark / stacking scuff.General crazing throughout - no discoloration / sickness / haziness.Pattern is crisp and well-defined.
