Description: You are looking at a rare Heuer watch. This watch predates the merger that eventually led to TAG Heuer. This is the black faced Tag Heuer 980.038 women's 1000 professional watch. This watch is a true survivor. I am a Tag Heuer collector and I own over 225 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. It is the women's size tag watch with a case size of about 28mm (32mm crown included). The crystal is in excellent condition with two fine pinhead sized scratches. The back casing is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The bracelet is the original black rubber band. It is in excellent condition with very light wear. The stainless steel tang buckle is the original Heuer buckle. It is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The bezel is in excellent condition with fine scratches. This is probably the nicest ladies Heuer 1000 I have ever seen. I would guess it was only worn a handful of times. I would rate this true survivor as a 9.3 out of 10 in condition. Most models like this one are all torn up....but not mine. The band will fit a 7.25 inch or smaller size wrist. Bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. It is quartz movement and 200 meters water resistant. I always recommend having seals tested before wearing in water. Due to the age of this watch I would not recommend wearing in water.
