Black decoration on white ground. The decoration on the cup appears to be underglaze, the decoration on the plate appears to be over glaze. All original. From the Holmenkollen Restaurant, Oslo, Norway. Cup backstamp: "Porsgrund - PP - Norway - 1981". Saucer backstamp: "Porsgrund - PP - Norway - 1980 - Varefakta P555". Circa 1980. CONDITION: Both pieces are in excellent original condition. No damage. No significant wear. No restorations. Condition is consistent with seldom, gentle use. No dings, cracks, nicks, chips, flakes. No crazing. No significant scratches or rubs. No roughness. Very clean as found. No scale or residues. No stains or discolorations. On very close inspection you may detect some light typical handling- / use-related wear: scattered superficial wear to the glaze on the surface of the saucer; a few minute, scattered losses to the line decoration on the saucer. Nothing at all significant / conspicuous. Both pieces display well. Bright and shiny.
