Description: Pearsall Gossamer Silk's- New - Never used. These silks were obtained from an avid fly tier of North Country Spiders, Soft Hackles and Flymphs who has decided to reduce his fly tying activities. Pearsall's Gossamer Pure Silk Thread is the historic fly tying thread used for tying for tying Soft Hackles, Spiders, Wingless Wets and Wet Flies. Pearsall's Gossamer has also been used for rod winding as well for Bamboo rods. Due to their age, the labels may come loose, or the silk unwound - I will do my best to rewind the silk. There may be some tape holding the silks, as to not unwind or getting tangled while being shipped. All silks being sold in THIS listing are NEW and unused. I may have other listings where the Gossamer's will be listed as used. It’s known that on the older wooden spools, that the outer layers of the silks have a chance of being somewhat faded. Typically, the silks within the spool should be the original color. Since I have some silks on the plastic spools and some on the older spools - you may get either one, depending on the quantity that is remaining. Please message me if you prefer one or the other, and I'll do my best to accommodate your request if they're available. There is only one charge for shipping.
