Description: This offering is for ONE very rare and unusual salesman sample that is unused and unwashed of a huge scroll of the recipe for Louisiana New Orleans JAMBALAYA...the writing is on the fabric...so to speak :) with all the iconic imagery you'd expect from 1945 in the Bayou state. A cherry deep dark tomato red ground with black writing...chartreuse green...creamy lime...deep dark lime...creamy chartreuse...AQUA...cocoa brown and white. The selvedge is signed "A Waverly Bonded Fabric Glosheen JAMBALAYA". A unglazed cotton called glosheen for its smooth texture and deluxe cotton used to make it...non GMO cotton right her'er'a! Salesman samples were used by door to door salesman of the time to use as examples to show housewives of the period. The top and bottom edges are serged as expected of salesman samples. Measures 37 inches wide x 52 inches long. Flawless. I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help. With that said...of course I will take a return...I'm just hoping more the pricing will WOW YA over wanting to return it :) Here is to a summer of fabulous Florida Finds. :)
