On the original matting she has titled the illustration, artist name, along with added artist information. As shown areas of her address and other information (lesson# & assignment#) has rubbed off over time. Matting is detached from painting-not mounted. Sold unframed-no frame Dates: Exact age is unknown as painting is not dated. Looks to be late 1950’s to 60’s Measures: Painting- 11” x 14” Matting: 14” x 17” Condition: Heavy surface scuffs, scratches, spots, stains, paint loss, bug bite, areas with fissures, areas age cracks and crazing, lifting, surface tears, toning lines, bends, some toning from age, loss, rubbing, back has old tape and tape residue stains,water spots and stains. Other wear from being stored for years. Matting is completely damaged! Tears, rips, toning, stains, loss, abrasions, spots, stains, bug bite, residue and wear. While the matting is at a total loss it can be mounted to back of painting to keep for provenance and title or possibly cropped out and double matted. Painting needs professional restoration. Matting is damaged and or needs heavy restoration. Painting will need professional restoration to repair above conditions. Painting needs frame. Painting is sold as-is, as shown in images provided.
