Moog muSonics Minimoog - Pro-Serviced w/Restoration

Description: This one is in excellent condition and working 100%. It has just been professionally serviced and with quite a bit of restoration. As the title says, this is a very early, Moog muSonics Minimoog which are rare and are seldom listed. Especially in this condition! This model has several similarities to the RA Minimoog, such as the metal face panel, clear pitch/mod wheels, the squared back panel, no voltage selector switch, the more detailed graphics, and the walnut cabinet. The oscillator board and all other boards are discrete. Many will describe the next generation, CA3046 oscillator board as the first board (I think they mean the most common and earlier board to the UA726.) The serial numbers from Minimoogs around this time were written with ink, not stamped, and have often worn off. You can get a close enough range by looking at the oscillator & filter boards since they generally have serial numbers written on them. The oscillator board shows #1219 and the filter board shows #1221. I have owned many RA & muSonic models over the years and this would be accurate. It will be properly packaged when sold and will arrive in the condition as described. Not sold as-is! Proof of the actual shipping cost will be provided if needed. There are plenty of scuffs & marks on it, but overall I think it looks as good as the photos show. I'm very critical with my descriptions as some of you are aware of how many sellers exaggerate the condition of their gear. Please check out the photos. The original walnut cabinet and bottom piece have been restored, the back panel has been re-anodized, it has new black screws, new Switchcraft washers & nuts, and new knobs from the same company that provided them originally. Internally- Apart from any repairs, the unit has been disassembled, cleaned, & hardware tightened, all trimmers, switches, edge connectors (re-soldered), and jacks chemically cleaned, all of the potentiometers on the face panel have been replaced with new ones, all trim pots replaced on the oscillator board (multi-turn), new .01% matched resistors, tuning transistors & capacitors on the oscillator board, new overload lamp, new cinch connectors on the pitch/mod box & keyboard, the power supply has been rebuilt (all capacitors replaced), new power cord & clamp, new heat sink compound for the power supply & oscillators, the keyboard completely rebuilt (circuit board standoffs replaced, bushings replaced, key contacts & buss-bars polished, the key action refurbished & spaced, and all keys cleaned & polished), new fuses, and it's been completely calibrated (power supply, A440 tuner, oscillator tune, tracking, scale, octave.)
