Description: The Moog Mavis is an awesome machine as a synth voice or a modulator for other gear. The quality of the sound and build are exceptional but the cheap plastic case makes it feel like a toy! This case is handmade in Minnesota from highly figured Hard Maple with a natural oil finish. It adds significant weight to the Mavis making it feel and look as good as it sounds. Four soft rubber feet on the bottom prevent it from sliding around. One complaint I've had for the Mavis - as well as all the Moog semi-modular synths - is the lack of a power switch so this case includes a power switch. Simply plug the Moog power supply into the jack on the back and flip the switch - no more fumbling around to plug in! This case is sized to accept the Moog dust cover and M3 mounting screws from your Mavis. Simply unscrew the four screws holding the Mavis to the plastic case, plug in the included eurorack power cable to the Mavis circuit board, and fasten the Mavis to the case using the M3 screws. The Mavis and patch cords in the photos are not included with the sale. This listing is only for the case.
