Description: Meissen Biedermeier Relief Molded Gold Roses & Flowers 11 Inch Charger B Nice antique Biedermeier period porcelain form W33 charger with relief molded plastic rose decoration with gold highlights tot he flowers and hand painted green leaves. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with the blue hand painted underglaze blue mark used by Meissen between 1824 and 1850. The form was first made in 1841. Has some wear to the gilding, and a large bruise to the foot rim, and an in manufacture stacking flake to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 11 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
