No cracks on any plastic parts.No rust as it was kept indoors. There are scratches on the flip mirror (they should be out of focal range as the image was clear when tested. Use your mirror if the cosmetics matter to you). Mechanically the focuser and flip mechanisms operate fine. All gears have all their teeth intact. OTA tube and main optics:Despite a little dust.. I looked and could not see any scratches or marks on the outer main glass of the Optical Tube Assembly (OTA). There is a little dust on the inside which shows on the photo but it's in very good condition. A small ding on the side which looks worse in the pic than it is in person. I didn't notice it actually until the zoomed in photos. I could not detect any defects to any of these parts.We sell these parts to keep some telescopes up and running out there. It's hardly worth the time it takes to do this correctly.. but if it saves your telescope from the landfill.. be patient as we ship every other day.
