Description: Vintage Match Holder Vesta. This is a little skiing or walking boot that is designed to hold a box of matches. It's a souvenir from Austria and has an old paper stuffed in the toe, maybe an old train schedule? It has place names that fit places in Austria. This is made of red stitched leather, with plastic accents. The sole is hard plastic and there are metal clips on the base and on the buckle. The laces are plastic cording and laced carefully. This measures approximately 3 1/4" long. There is faint pinkish staining on the back white leather. There is no mark, but remnants of an old paper label.
