Description: KORG TRINITY OWNERS This is a NEW item; programs were finished 10/7/12 as the 4th disk in a series of programs for the Korg Trinity keyboard. As you know or have heard, the Korg Trinity has one of the better sound engines and is much better than the factory sounds would suggest. I have even been able to get some very good piano sounds out of this that are better than the Triton or previous models (M, T or O1W) but do fall short of the subtle quality of sound that the M3 is getting. Some of the synth, string and pad sounds are very usable even by todays standards; as are the organs very good, but will not be quite as good as the Korg Triton extreme or the M3. This set of programs are all very organized and double checked through Pro Tools 8. Volume levels are set so that upon loading this disk and changing programs, the volumes will remain relatively consistant from patch to patch. This set of sounds contains 38 Organs (nice variety of Rock, Blues, Jazz as well as some softer sounds and a few pipe organ sounds) and about 80 synths. Added in are a few pianos as well as 1 solo guitar patch. I feel that everyone should have a good grand piano sound as well as some EP's. The creative synth sounds are similar to the programming found on the O1/W and M1, in that they are more synth oriented in stead of personal keyboard oriented. Also, there are some nice emulations of having a multiple midi set up of the old DX7's. These programs are tested for sound levels and clarity through Pro Tools and are all balanced (volumes will remain consistant when switching from patch to patch). Again, although there are many programs that are layered, these are all programs, 128 in all, and will load right in to your Trinity as entire bank or as individual programs. As well as the layered type of patches there are some synth leads, synth basses, choirs, strings, but again, most patches are "creative" in their development and will not sound anything like factory. Organ programs are all together from 90 to 128. Synth programs run from 00 to 89. This is Disk 4 in the Custom program series of disks. Again as always, these are all on a high quality new 3 1/2" floppy disk with new plastic pocket case, mailed in a padded envelope. Programmers note - I have spent time with, edited, and progammed from scratch Moog, Arp, Oberheim, Sequential Circuits, Yamaha, and Korg instruments throughout the years. I also had the pleasure and opportunity to spend a day with the original Moog (it filled a small room). I can tell you that the Trinity is one of the better pre-2000 synth's out there. If one should buy or learn to create sounds for the Trinity, you will think again about selling it or purchasing a different synth. O1W and N264/364 do have better factory patches as does the M3, but I did find that the Trinity and Triton factory sounds fell short of what these synth's can do. Also, no eq, comp nor any effect used on Pro Tools; volume at 1/2 way mark on Trinity pushing 0 on Pro Tools. If you are looking at the other disks this one is more synth type; no drums, bass, percussion etc...whereas the Custom Disk is the more generic (for studio or live with emphasis on variety. The Classical disk contains very realistic sounding acoustic patches for Classical and Jazz, no synth sounds...
