Description: Kindel Georgian Style Mahogany Writing Desk With Leather Top; Three Drawers & Key. Near mint piece dating from the 1980s, dark brown with red undertones. Smooth satin level finish. Mottled dark brown leather with distressed pattern and coloration. Three drawers at the front, the center one being 29” wide, flanked by two drawers each at 14.5” wide. The drawers are 3.25” deep. All four sides are finished, the sides and back with raised trim that emulates the size of the front doors. Four sturdy tapered legs with spade style feet. Solid hardwood drawers with dovetailed corners. Solid polished brass pulls with a working lock on the center drawer with original key.Dimensions: 68” wide, 30” deep from front to back and 29.5” high. From the floor to the underside of the desk is 24”. The center drawer is 29” wide, each flanking drawer is 14.5” wide - all three are appx. 3.25” deep. Exceptional condition. Even color on all sides. Heavy, structurally solid piece. No nicks, dings or wear to the wood. Solid clean leather with lightly tooled edges. A couple of the leathers have been re-attached, but are completely stable.
