Description: Harris-Cies Studio Terracotta Art Pottery pair of candlesticks. 20th Century Barbara Harris and Sandy Cies, the Harris-Cies studio husband-wife team, form their ceramics from the finest earthenware clay. Abstract form, changes from every viewing angle, combines with airbrushed color in cubist and organic style. These candlesticks are tall - 11 1/4" and 3 1/4" in diameter at the base. Color is teal with pastels lightly drawn at the top in abstract sketches. They are in excellent condition with no chips or repairs - there is one very tiny blemish in the coloring on one side which was original to the piece. Not very significant but mention only for transparency.
