Description: BEAUTIFUL newer vintage Asian artisan/designer crafted medium sized wood with mother of pearl/abalone inlaid dresser/jewelry box. This gorgeous box is 7” long by 4 3/8” wide by 3” high. The exterior is inlaid with high grade white, iridescent mother of pearl and purple/green, etc. abalone shell on all sides except the bottom with delightful scenes of deer, water birds, turtles and a variety of bamboo and flora. The interior features a mirror in the top underside of the lid, a red felt lined shelf that can be removed, revealing a black damask type lined interior underneath. The top shelf offers room for rings, earrings, small necklaces and bracelets. There are two keys and a silver push key, with an ornate woven butterfly type designed attachment, that opens the large exterior padlock. This box is in really nice pre-owned condition with no damage other than a bit of lint and dust on the interior and, perhaps, VERY minor surface wear on the exterior. This is a beautifully designed, nicely crafted box. It will be very carefully packaged for shipping.
