Description: Beautiful clothing button was probably produced in the latter part of the 1900s. This is a studio button which does not seem to have been signed, but my mom had it marked as being produced by Peter Ben. This is a paperweight style button, which was produced by have a layer of clear glass, covering an inner section of multi-colored glass. This button features a flower like insignia at the center, surrounded by a white and red outer section, which has a sort of pinwheel design. There are also a few air bubbles in the glass. It has a metal shank embedded on the back. Please refer to the ruler pictured in the image for the exact button size. Overall condition: Excellent..... The button may have slight surface wear -- but there are no cracks, chips, or other serious flaws. It is in great shape and it will display beautifully. My mom -- Nancy Moran -- was a longtime member of the National Button Society, plus was active in several local button clubs in New York.
