After reading about this product online it seems that it will only work when connected directly to the router through an ethernet cable since it is not leased. I have read that it will not work wirelessly with your AT&T router unless you get it directly from AT&T and have their Extended Wifi Service. I also read online that it is only compatible with the following AT&T Gateways: BGW320 BGW210 Pace 5268 PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ASSUMING IT WILL WORK THE SAME WAY AS A LEASED EXTENDER! From everything I have read online about this item is that it will not work in the same way as a leased extender from AT&T. Please only purchase this item if you FULLY UNDERSTAND this information and know what you are buying. If you are purchasing this extender to connect it wirelessly to your router it will not work based upon what I have read online. I've seen many people sell these here on eBay so I am assuming most people understand this when purchasing them. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE IT! I am only able to describe it based upon what I have seen in other listings here and information I have read online.
