The front cover has a small amount of writing in pencil. The pages are age tanned. There are small tears to the spine covering. A few pages have small tears and one page in the advertising section has a cut out. There are two small holes drilled near the spine so the magazine was probably in some sort of binder at one time. The first numbered page is 81 and the last "regular" numbered page is 154. The magazine shows wonderful garment patterns that could have been ordered from Butterick as well as stories and fashion articles. This magazine would make an excellent addition to your collection -- invaluable for dating antique clothing and patterns. Items can only be mailed to the address shown on the payment. I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience, but this is an ebay rule, not me trying to be difficult. If you wish to have the package sent to a different address, please contact me BEFORE paying and I will try to assist you. I combine shipping whenever possible--never necessary to ask. "Like items" ship well together. Books and breakables do not. Only items that meet the stringent regulations of the Post Office can travel by Media Mail. If you wish to have items combined into one package, then ONE Paypal payment must be made. Multiple payments means multiple packages. We are not set up for pick-up. We've tried it in the past and had too many "no shows". Our schedules can be erratic, so please allow us to mail your package. This is a non-smoking home; however, most of my items are antique or vintage and have been purchased at estate sales and auctions. I'm sorry, but I am not aware of how the item has been stored or used before I received it. I frequently get asked about odors. I have a fairly "sensitive" nose -- if an item has a disagreeable fragrance, that information will be included in the description. Ebay automatically adds sales tax when they deem it is appropriate -- I have no control over it. I try very hard to please all of my buyers. Please understand that delivery times and the cost of shipping are beyond my control. These are controlled entirely by the Post Office, UPS, and FedEx. Your rating will be for me, not one of these agencies. If you do not feel that you can give all 4's or 5's on the DSR's, please contact me with your concerns BEFORE leaving feedback. Low ratings affect my income -- it only takes 3 1's or 2's in any category within a 3 month period (regardless of the volume of sales) to lower my standing. Please do not cost me money because of frustration with the continuously increasing rates from the PO.
