Incredible tuning stability and incredible sustain and tone. It’s a big guitar and produces massive tones to match. The quilted maple looks amazing and locking tuners top it all off to make an incredible guitar. Upgrades includes Graph Tech Black Tusq XL Nut, D’Addario Strap Locks, Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck and push-pull pots for both volume and tone to split both the neck and the bridge pickups. Volume knob is wired in the Gibson style (might be considered backwards to lefties, but I prefer to have the volume on this guitar wired like my Les Paul). CASE NOT INCLUDED There is a small amount of buckle rash due to normal use on the back. I tried to photograph it and highlight it in the last photo but it’s tough to catch on camera. The Phoenix-1000 offers a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets and ESP flag inlays. Components on this guitar include LTD locking tuners, a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, and a set of Seymour Duncan pickups with nickel covers. The neck pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup, splittable with the push-pull volume knob, while a ceramic Custom in the neck position provides overwound P.A.F.-like tones, splittable to single-coil with the push-pull tone control.
