Description: This list is for a circa 1880 DOULTON BURSLEM porcelain vase about 5" tall and 6" at widest. This is a glossy finish with blue underglaze decoration of unknown florals in two similar views on the front and back, photos 1&2. The curving wall of the piece is fluted vertically and there is a ring of gold trim at top and bottom. Sprinkled thoughout the piece is a sponging of tannish coloration and also around the upper rim. This color also has been touched with sponged on gold. Marked on the base with the early BUSLEN CORONET mark in deep blue. There are ther base markings also in blue which are unknown to me. Piece is in outstanding mint condition. I might also note that there are areas that appear to have a very light flowing of the blue.
