DML 1/35 M270A1 MLRS Detail and Correction kit

Description: SM35009 SAAMMODELS: Replacement Suspension and details for DML M270 and M270A1 kits to make a more accurate M270A1, like the ones currently serving in Ukraine. In this set you will receive 12 roadwheels (inner and outer printed in one piece), 22 modern US footmans loops (to replace DML's molded lumps), 1 front lower hull pintle mount, 4 single wheel/4 double wheel return rollers with accurate details, 2 detailed idlers, and 2 CORRECTLY SHAPED sprockets. These are the first correctly shaped road wheels and do NOT have a rim (the rubber is vulcanized over the inner lip) and with the correct shape of the outside wheel lip. These are meant to be direct replacements for the DML wheels, fitting right onto the kit road wheel arms.Both antennas are included: Detailed and scale accurate AS3916 antennas for each side of the cab and the square GPS antenna that is added to the launcher box on the M270A1 version.An accurate commanders hatch rail is included. This is the one used by the US and many other allies. The return rollers include accurate hull mounts and much improved detail.22 modern US footman's loops are included for the 21 molded on lumps on the cab roof.There is a new lower front hull pintle mount. 2 new idlers are included with improved detail. They are printed in one piece but are correctly offset. They will require a little sanding of the idler mount to sit level (see photo). AND 2 NEW SPROCKETS. These are printed in 1-piece, correctly detailed, and shaped based on a lot of research, with non-mirrored inner and outer rings. These are the first sprockets to correctly capture this. These sprockets will fit right on the kit without any need for adjustment. The sprockets DO NOT WORK with the DML kit track as the DML track is .5mm too wide (oversize) and is not really correct for a M270A1. The wheels and idlers will work with the kit track. The new idler has been tested and works with the AFV Club workable "Big Foot" track. Photos show AFV Club tracks (Brown) but they are NOT INCLUDED. See photos for details. These parts will be taken off of the printing supports for complete curing, but will require some sanding to remove the attachment nubs. These have been designed by me under my brand SAAMMODELS (I own the CAD files and STL files) and I print them on Elegoo Mars or Saturn printers. They are printed to order, so please allow 1-2 extra days after the order has been placed. These were designed to help me build my DML M270 kits more accurately without a lot of extra work.
