New Orleans, Pensacola and Vicksburg during the War Between the States. She was captured by Confederate forces in the Battle of Galveston on 1 January 1863. The vessel entered Confederate service as a blockade runner. She ran the Union blockade and steamed to Cuba, loaded with cotton bales. She was still there when the war ended and was reclaimed by the Union. She was sold into merchant service, caught fire and was abandoned at sea in 1881. Seller has over 50 Civil War Ship covers.
