Description: Two Roland GR-1 Guitar Synthesizers both with OEM Transformers & Memory or Extension Card. Both are in great cosmetic condition, yet each suffers the same problem---age! After time, apparently the output in both only act minimally (a time related circuit component failure???). Outside of having to crank output to the max to get any responsive signal, they mechanically operate. So the sound is essentially barely there unless you listen with headphones or set a power amp on high to discern. Basically, both work [but must be listed as 'not working' by eBay rules] & can be programmed, but you can only barely hear the outgoing signals. One is the Expanded version with the SR-GR1-01 card and the other has the M-256E memory card (which alone on eBay and Reverb is currently selling for $99-$139 each!!!). Whatever tech service will fix one, I imagine can fix both. Processors used minimally & treated well for over 30 years. Be apprised that the declared price is for BOTH synths, BOTH power transformers, and for BOTH cards--all together as a one package deal! Final note--unlike ALL of the subsequent Roland guitar synths, only the GR-1 was designed with a four track recorder sequencer (very useful for live performances)...Thanks.
