Description: All pictures in the listing are taken by me and are of the actual item you will receive. Up for sale is my copy of Black Christmas, which hit theaters in 1974. It is in great condition. This movie first came out in 1974, however, the first VHS player didn’t hit the market in the United States until 1977. Black Christmas finally hit VHS for the first time in 1986 in the form of this copy. Bob Clark is very famous for the movie “A Christmas Story”, however, in the world of horror, he is renowned for directing one of the earliest versions of a slasher movie, that predates the Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday 13th franchise. These are really hard to find in great condition. I bought this from another collector, who informed me that the tape was playable, however I never bothered to test it, as I don’t have a VCR any longer. I didn’t really care anyway, because these tapes are so old, they are ultimately for display purposes for me. Thanks for looking.
