Description: Betsy McCall’s doll 14 in. Handmade Cloth Vintage With 2 Sets Of Outfits. I used a Betsy McCall pattern # 2097, from the 1950 60’s. The doll I had to tweak to fit into her outfits. Think she turned out fine. She has a chemise, petticoat, dress, capri pants and matching sleeveless top, along with a sailor type short jacket. I Made shoes for her out of felt and small buttons. Her hair is synthetic yarn material and painted her face. The first dolls I did using this pattern turned out to be 16 in. She was too big So finished her and made her into a mermaid. See my other dolls. This doll I sized down to 14 1/2 inches she fits perfectly into her outfits. Like all my dolls she is made from recycled fabrics, bits and bobs from a nonsmoking home.
