Description: Here we have a very scarce authentic antique original unposted postcard produced in 1913 for the Austrian Adriatic Exhibition in Vienna with artwork by WIENERWERKSTAETTE artist, Bertold Loffler (1874-1960, Austrian.) It features A fantasy figure inspired by Dionysus (or perhaps a younger Dionysus himself) with grape clusters for hair, astride a stylized dolphin or fish mer-creature.) It is in excellent or better unposted antique condition. As stated on card, printed on Kilophot GMBH (Vienna) paper; published by Albert Berger (Vienna.) Google translates text on back of postcard as follows: Greetings from the Austrian Adriatic Exhibition, Vienna 1913, Official Postcard. This postcard is from a set of six Loffler cards issued for the Exhibition. We have two others from the set (see last photo showing all three together, but note that this listing is for the single postcard pictured in the rest of the photos.) We have lots of fabulous postcards -- including more scarce art cards like this one -- in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. If the eBay checkout fails to properly combine your orders, we will issue a refund for the difference between what you paid to ship items separately and the actual cost of the combined shipping, on the day that we ship your package. (We don't find out the actual cost of combined shipping until we purchase the shipping label.) Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best and are the most important part of the description--please zoom in on them and examine them carefully. Very fresh and clean piece in overall excellent-plus or better antique condition, with the lightest possible edge and corner wear as shown in the photos. Any issues beyond that, if they exist, are highlighted in close-up photos. Nothing sticky or otherwise gross, and no funky odors. Lies nice and flat. Penciled-in collector's historical price note on back. Rest assured that we will do all we can to ensure that your piece of ephemera arrives exactly as presented in our photos. We invest time and appropriate materials into shipping all of our ephemera. Most pieces are sent in envelopes that are sandwiched between cardboard before being sent as Priority or first-class parcels in non-bendable mailers, which ship at rates much higher than first-class letters. We never toss our ephemera into thin stationery envelopes with forever stamps stuck to them expecting the USPS to deliver them to you with great care.Shipping: The insurance cost alone for this package is at least $6.05. We do our best to provide the lowest shipping rates by giving you as many choices as possible. You can find all of the rates available to you by scrolling to the Shipping section below (if on the app/a cell phone) or by clicking on the "SEE DETAILS" link to the right of the "Shipping" amount noted next to the photos (if on the browser/computer version.) These are the only ways to view all of your shipping options (including their costs and arrival dates.) We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.The Fine Print:We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message. We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
