A dab of loctite might not go amiss either, but typically once snug it shouldn’t fall off unless dropped, and then again can just be pressed back on. It protrudes just enough to provide protection to the one surface that is most likely to suffer damage from a drop or the like. Rest assured as well that your photo/video quality from any of the lenses, as well as the AR camera will be completely unobstructed.
