Featuring a study wood base with woven sides, flared ends to mimic handles and a braided edge, condition is primitive and slightly shabby from age and use with minor breakage as shown - still a sturdy and tight weave. I always planned on cutting a piece of floral material to fit within the oval, just never did - it works perfectly for displaying antique perfume bottles and similar small or miniature items - size is small and charming.
