Description: this is a very unique and unusual antique plains Indian doll from the 1840- 70s and was tentatively identified by the National Museum for the American Indian as the made by "...the Plains Indians Tribes...most likely the Pawnee people." this is a child's doll and and not something made for trade. it features a cloth doll in a beaded leather papoose, with bells and triangular motifs. it is not in very good condition, and need some loving hands that can restore it, and preserve it. it measures approximately 10" long, 4.5" high, and 5" wide. the photographs are given as a statement of current condition and State of the item for sale. no other representations are made beyond what is shown in the photographs. this item is offered as is with no returns, it is one of a kind. as such, be sure to look at photographs carefully, and do ask questions, before you bid.
