Description: Antique Boch Freres La Louviere Napoleon Plate Combate De Benhout - Belgium. This is an antique Boch Freres La Louviere Plate featuring a scene from the Neopoleonic War. The scene is Combate De Benhout 1799. It is an 8 inch black transferware plate with combat scene in the middle surrounded by a border of scrolls with helmet and sword along with the letter N with a crown above it. The backstamp dates this piece to the 1920s, (part of the Backstamp has worn away). Made in Belgium. The plate has no chips or cracks. There is some crazing on the piece. There are some marks on the glaze on the back and some stains as well. See photos. 8 in diameter x 1 inch tall
