The overall surface has a beautiful gingerbread finish. The amphor is a bit warmer than the background and likely made of stamped copper. The brooch is rectangular. It measures approximately 2 5/8 of an inch by 1 3/4 of an inch by 3/8 of an inch deep at the center. It closes with a simple C clasp. This mixed metals antique brooch is in excellent condition. It is estimated to date from the early 1900s and is unsigned.
